The job market is constantly evolving, and today’s students must be better prepared than ever to effectively compete.  Students who understand their skills, values, and interests are at a distinct advantage when choosing their careers/jobs.  Their needs vary widely from disengaged middle and high school aged students who don’t see the value of education, to students who are college-bound, to motivated college students who simply need some guidance to achieve their career satisfaction and success.

Road to Success: Student Career Development Program
EMY & associates, in collaboration with The International School of Protocol, has developed an enhanced career-focused program for middle and high school aged students based on Self Discovery, Career Exploration, and Career Preparation.  Comprehensive Leader training and certification sessions prepare teachers, guidance counselors, school specialists, and others identified by schools/organization to lead their students toward careers/jobs satisfaction and success.

Employer Relationship Development
Through real work world experiences and contacts students will develop and enhance skills and abilities that will lead to careers/jobs satisfaction and success.  Examples include:

• Employer mock interviews
• Job/internship exploration fairs
• Informational interviews
• Employer tours
• Job shadowing days
• Internship program development

Customized Program
EMY & associates will evaluate existing student career development offerings and develop targeted programs to meet identified needs.  Examples include:

• Internship reflective classes
• College student panels
• Networking preparation activities
• Career poster presentation events
• Discussion sessions on career topics
